Who we are
We are a non-profit voluntary organization whose members work with many sectors to influence emerging and re-emerging health, social, environmental and economic policy decisions to improve the quality of life and well being of Manitobans.
MPHA promotes awareness of public health by discussing issues from different perspectives, creating meaningful dialogue between Manitobans and the health professional community. Through our networking, MPHA can provide advice and support to communities and organizations concerned about public health and provide advocacy on issues that matter most to Manitobans.
We value working in partnerships for greater health equity within an environment of respect, inclusiveness, sustainability, non-partisanship and through integrative processes and celebration.
